The competent authority reserves the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel the recruitment process, increase or decrease the number of posts as per recruitment against any post at any stage.
Candidates who are chosen may be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
Applicants who are currently employed by the government should apply through the proper channels. They must provide NOC at the time of the interview.
Ex-servicemen are also eligible to apply.
At the time of interview, applicants must present their original documents as well as a set of attested copies of Domiciel/Degree/Certificates issued by HEC recognized Boards/Universities/Institutes. If any information provided by the applicant is found to be false or fraudulent, the candidate's candidature will be cancelled, and legal action will be taken against the candidate at any stage of recruitment and after employment.
Candidates for positions requiring a physical test must first pass a physical test (one mile in seven minutes for male candidates and one mile in ten minutes for female candidates), followed by a computer-based test (CBT) based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs) at a later stage. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
Candidates will be examined by the Federal Government's authorized civil surgeon at the time of final selection.
Handwritten applications will not be accepted or retained.
Applicants must bring their original CNIC to the testing location.
There will be no TA/DA for test/interview physical/endurance & skill tests.
After applying for the positions, applicants are advised to check the FIA web portal on a regular basis for important announcements, such as the list of eligible candidates. Candidates, test center assignments, test date assignments, registration slips, and various test results (Physical/skill/written) related to recruitment for the above post. Candidates will also be notified of the test schedule via SMS to the provided mobile number. However, no information in this regard shall be sent via postal service.
Following the submission of applications, the list of ineligible candidates will be posted on the FIA website for the benefit of all parties involved.
Any candidate who has a complaint about his/her eligibility result for any portion of the test must file an inquiry complaint on the FIA website within 7 days of the result being posted, and the FIA is required to respond to his/her query through its complaint management system.
Candidates will not be permitted to take Physical/Skill/CBT tests unless they present their Registration slip and original CNIC/Passport.
Candidates appointed to the positions of Assistant (BPS-15), UDC (BPS-11), and LDC (BPS-09) must complete the mandatory prescribed IT Training course of the National Information Technology Board (NITB) before the probation period ends.
